Within a Deep Forest is a platformer by Nicklas Nygren.
Gameplay

The player controls a bouncing ball in Within a Deep Forest, which makes for a different kind of platforming experience. The player has control over directional movement and how bouncy the ball is, but the ball will always bounce off what it hits. Because it is very easy to bounce off walls that were intended to be scaled, the player has to have good timing and control of the ball.
The game spans a world in which uses spawn points to determine where to return when you die. The player also collects a number of different materials to make their ball out of at spawn time. The differences in material are mostly about how bouncy each is, with some of the materials simply having the quality of being a "key" to get past a certain type of obstacle in the world.
