Fraxy Finale: A70M1C vs. Reactor-00 / Eye of Destruction
Eye of Destruction
Level - 100
This is it, Ladies and Gents! The final battle is upon us! If there were a contest to create a final boss for Fraxy, this would be my submission! It took a long time, but I had an enormous amount of fun putting this video together. Also, If nothing impedes me this within the next day or so, all of my creations will be uploaded to the Fraxy Compendium. Hooray, and finally! Unlike many other of my bosses, this one actually has somewhat of a strategy to it, to help you not die, so I am going to write down said stategy for those who plan on fighting this monster. I would ask that you read it after you watch the video so as not to spoil any suprises.
Prison Phase - So now you are imrisoned with the boss, lasers on all sides! Do not worry, you still have some running options. The best way to stay alive is the go WITH the laser walls that come out of the boss. As they charge, they spin one way, but once they fire, they stop and start moving the opposite way. You will want to make it so one of the walls is literally chasing you. If you do this, you have a fair chance of dodging the homing lasers and the bullet sweep becomes no problem. If you dont, you WILL be killed by the bullet sweep. Its an almost guaranteed thing. Also, while you dont want to go literally toe-to-toe with the Eye, you will want to stay pretty close. The laser walls are a way off, but there is a blade crawler that flies around just before the wall that like to hack you to pieces. So, if you stay close and go with the lasers, you should be fine, although the homing lasers will be the hardest thing to avoid. This is also the best phase to put as many shots into the core as you can, So dont let go of the trigger for more than a second, because every second counts.
Dragon Phase - This is where your best strategy is to keep moving like your fingers are on fire! Unlike the Prison phase, there are no walls, and the boss is flying around. Distance is your best friend. Ill give you a rundown of the attacks and your (approximate) chances of surviving each alone:
-Vulcan Waves (wings and back) - 9/10
-Bullet Sweep - 3/4
-Power Ball Waves - 3/5
-Laser Storm - 3/10
None of these take into account being clipped by a wing or tail, which of course causes instant death. While everything alone seems easy enough to avoid, when combined it makes for some harrowing flying! Just stick to it and keep boosting anywhere you can. If you can manage to get behind him, you will have to face vulcan rounds, but will be mostly free of power balls, but dont stay there too long or he will whip around and, if you are too close, destroy you with a wing or tail.
That about sums up the battle. I will be posting here and on my page once everything is up on the Compendium. Until then, keep fighting the good fight!
