A visually complex exploration game by Aliceffekt, with flickering strange visuals and sound.
Gameplay[]
The purpose of the game is not entirely clear. The player explores, with full 3d motion, a 3d world in which hundreds of different images are projected on different 3d planes. Planes that are further away from the center of the player's vision shake chaotically and repeat, causing distracting visual noise. As well, the player's location and the amount of visual noise onscreen will change the amount of industrial noise in the background. There seems to be no interaction besides movement, with the intent seeming to be to find one's way out of the chaos. Whether this is possible or not is unclear.
Trivia[]
- Originally envisioned as a combination of "Descent, Yume Nikki, and Turok".
- The game features some of Aliceffekt's strange metalanguage known as "Traumae".
