Chronotron is a Flash puzzle platformer that requires the clever use of time travel to solve its puzzles. The Timepod has been heavily damaged and has lost many of its time circuits. Now stuck in a loop, the player must control a robot to recollect them to get the Timepod working properly again. Unfortunately, it is impossible for the robot to collect them alone, so using the Timepod's time loops, the player must work with previous time iterations of the robot to collect the circuits. fuck you

Gameplay[]

Each level requires the collection of a time circuit followed by entering the Timepod to finish the level. The robot can jump, lift boxes, and re-enter the time pod to go back in time and work along side the previous iteration of itself. Using multiple robots, the player can hold down switches to open doors, hold boxes and jump for a boost for the robot on top, and use each other to launch into the air with see-saws. Some levels also contain pause circuits that can be used to pause time temporarily.

Previous iterations of the robot attempt to perform all the actions you had it perform last time, which includes entering the Timepod to go back in time. If an iteration fails to make it back to the Timepod, a time paradox will occur. Even if the player got the circuit and returned to the Timepod, the player will still fail the level because of a paradox.
