FLaiL is a difficult platformer by Matt Thorson. The overall objective of each level is to touch the floor under the red beam of light to finish the level. In addition to this, to unlock additional zones and levels, points must be collected in each level by finishing the level as quickly as possible, and by touching bonus point icons in the levels.

GameplayEdit

The gameplay in FLaiL is very much of a difficult platformer. The levels are single screen rooms filled with deadly hazards. If there are floors and walls, most likely they are covered in spikes. Often time there are no floors or walls, but spikes fill the air instead. The stick figure under the player's control has the ability to move quite fast, jump, cling from ledges, and duck under obstacles. The major ability and game mechanic of the game is the player's ability to "FLY", which is a mid-air dash in one of eight directions. Levels also contain objects to flip the gravity, FLY rechargers, and moving platform generators.
